Photoshop Expert Needed – Restore & Match 4 Vintage 1977 Photos I need an experienced Photoshop/photo-restoration professional to prepare four 1977 Bill Walton photographs for a professionally framed historical display. I need high-quality, careful Photoshop work—not aggressive AI enhancement or a generic vintage filter. All 4 photos: - Restore and prepare for high-quality enlargement/printing, including careful upscaling where needed. - Give them a consistent, authentic 1970s archival/press-photo appearance: natural film grain, controlled contrast/highlights, consistent tonality, and appropriate sharpness. - They should look old because they are old—not artificially aged. - No fake scratches, sepia effects, heavy filters, excessive smoothing, waxy faces, or invented AI detail. - Preserve facial features, hair, clothing texture, and original photographic character. Photo 1: Remove the strange color artifacts and glare. Restore the tonal range and make it look like a genuine vintage B&W photograph rather than a copy/reproduction. A person is blocking a significant portion of the WALLACE PARK shirt. I will provide a separate reference photo of the actual shirt laid flat, showing the complete design. Use it to realistically reconstruct the obscured portion, accounting for Walton’s body position, fabric folds, lighting, and perspective. It must look natural and not obviously edited. The person being removed should be placed behind the primary subject rather than filling in the background with something inaccurate. Photo 2: Make Walton the visual focus without making the manipulation obvious—subtly reduce the prominence of the background/crowd. The primary subject should clearly stand out in this photo. Photo 3: Produce both color and B&W versions so I can choose. Otherwise match the overall treatment of the set. Color should appear old and somewhat washed out like a typical old photo from 1970s (but natural). Photo 4: This is the cleanest/highest-quality source. Minimal restoration should be necessary. Make it visually harmonious with the other three without unnecessarily degrading it. Important: Restoration/upscaling should happen before final grain and sharpening. AI tools are fine when used carefully, but I do not want AI redrawing Walton’s face or creating artificial detail. Applying Please send samples of comparable restoration/Photoshop work. Alternatively, you may submit a watermarked sample using one of my provided photos. I will not use unpaid sample work, so watermarking is encouraged. Budget: $50-$100 fixed price. I’m looking for good value, but quality is the priority.
