Power BI Developer – Migrate BI Reporting from TARGIT to Power BI

We're transitioning our business intelligence reporting from TARGIT to Power BI and need an experienced consultant to lead the migration. This is a hands-on, client-facing engagement — you'll work directly with our end users to understand how they use existing TARGIT reports today, then rebuild and improve those insights in Power BI. What you'll do: Migrate existing dashboards and reports from TARGIT into Power BI Meet with end users to gather requirements and translate them into effective dashboard/report designs Build clean, scalable data models (Power Query, DAX) — not just 1:1 recreations of old reports Design intuitive, decision-ready dashboards for a variety of business stakeholders Recommend best practices for data refresh, governance, and maintainability Provide light documentation/knowledge transfer to our internal team What we're looking for: Proven experience building production Power BI reports and data models (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) Strong requirements-gathering skills with non-technical business users Excellent communication — comfortable leading working sessions directly with end users Experience with BI tool migrations is a plus Nice to have (not required): Familiarity with TARGIT Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as a data source
