You will take full accountability for project outcomes, from inception and scoping through execution and post-launch review. What You Will Own (Key Responsibilities) End-to-End Project Delivery: Take absolute ownership of project lifecycles. You are accountable for delivering on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Proactive Obstacle Removal: Do not wait for roadblocks to become crises. Anticipate risks, identify dependencies early, and aggressively clear a path for your team to execute. Stakeholder Alignment & Transparency: Act as the single source of truth for your projects. Provide ruthlessly honest, concise updates to leadership and stakeholders—no surprises, just solutions. Resource & Timeline Management: Ruthlessly prioritize tasks. Build realistic but ambitious roadmaps, hold cross-functional team members accountable to their commitments, and follow up relentlessly. Scope & Quality Control: Protect the project scope from creeping bloat while ensuring the final deliverable actually solves the core business problem. Post-Mortem Accountability: Lead project debriefs to analyze what worked, what failed, and how processes can be improved. Own the failures as much as the successes. Who You Are (Qualifications & Traits) Experience: 4+ years of project management experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., tech, agency, operations). The "Owner's Mindset": You do not say, "That's not my job." If a project is failing, you take it personally and step in to fix it. You focus on outcomes over outputs. Decisive Leadership: You are comfortable making tough calls with incomplete information and taking responsibility for the results. Exceptional Communication: You can translate complex technical or operational roadblocks into clear business impacts for executive stakeholders. Methodology Agnosticism: You understand Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, but you care more about what actually works for the specific project than rigidly adhering to a framework. Tool Proficiency: Deep experience with modern project management tools (Smartsheet) and the ability to build automated, frictionless workflows.
