US IT Recruiter - State Government Staffing | VMS Experience Required | Hourly + Placement Bonus

We are a woman-owned IT staffing and cybersecurity company based in New Jersey. We are an approved vendor on several state government IT staff augmentation programs, and requisitions reach us through VMS platforms. We are looking for a recruiter who already knows exactly how that world works. This is not general IT recruiting. State programs reject submittals on technicalities - a missing certificate, the wrong residency, a late submission, a rate outside the card. We need someone who has been burned by that before and knows how to avoid it. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Work the requisitions we forward from our VMS portals - Source W2 candidates who match the stated requirements exactly, including certifications, state residency and onsite days - Screen hard before submitting. If a requirement says the certificate must be attached, the certificate is attached - Build the submittal package: formatted resume, rate, right to represent, supporting certifications - Submit inside the deadline window and track status through to interview or close - Keep a simple tracker of what went out, when, and what came back WHAT YOU MUST HAVE - Real experience recruiting for US state government IT staff augmentation programs. Tell us which ones - Hands-on experience working inside a VMS. Tell us which platforms and for how long - Solid US IT recruiting background across project managers, business analysts, developers, network and systems engineers, cybersecurity and data roles - You understand the difference between W2 and C2C, and you are comfortable that we submit W2 only - Strong written English. You will be writing to candidates on our behalf NICE TO HAVE - Experience with right to represent forms, reference checks and background screening on public sector programs - Familiarity with how state procurement deadlines work and why they do not move HOW WE PAY - An hourly rate for sourcing and submittal work.
