Senior Engineer/Tech Lead to Test an AI Development Platform

Description We're looking for experienced software engineers to participate in a paid product test of an AI-powered software development platform. The goal is to understand how experienced developers naturally interact with the product when using it with a real software project. This is not a guided demo or a QA script. You'll receive the information necessary to access the platform and use it safely, but we want you to explore it independently and use it as you normally would when evaluating a new development tool. What you'll do During the test, you will: - Use an existing personal software project that you own and are authorized to use for this purpose; - Set up your project and connect your repository to the platform; - Explore the platform independently; - Choose a real development task from your project that you would normally work on yourself; - Use the platform to work on that task; - Review and validate the proposed implementation or changes; - Provide detailed and candid feedback about your experience. We are interested in both positive and negative feedback. Finding limitations, unexpected behavior, or situations where your existing workflow performs better is valuable to us. Who we're looking for We're primarily looking for: - Senior Software Engineers; - Staff/Principal Engineers; - Tech Leads; - Hands-on CTOs or technical founders; - Senior AI/Software Engineers. You should: - Have substantial professional software development experience; - Still be hands-on with software development and able to independently evaluate code quality; - Be comfortable with Git/GitHub and modern software development workflows; - Have an existing personal software project that you can legally use for the test; - Be able to assess whether a proposed implementation is technically correct and usable; - Be comfortable providing detailed technical feedback. Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar tools is highly desirable. Test commitment The initial test should take approximately 2–3 hours, with a maximum of 3 hours for this first engagement. This will be an hourly contract. If you encounter a technical issue that completely blocks the test, we don't expect you to spend the remaining time repeatedly retrying it. Document what happened and contact us so we can investigate. What we'll ask after the test We'll ask you to provide feedback about areas such as: - Initial setup and onboarding experience; - What you tried to accomplish; - Whether the platform understood your project and task; - Quality and usability of the result; - Corrections or rework required; - Approximate time spent; - Level of manual intervention required; - Where the platform helped or slowed you down; - How the experience compares with your usual development workflow and AI tools; - Whether you would use a product like this again. No specific outcome is expected. We're looking for your independent assessment. Important — project and data requirements You must use a project that you own or are explicitly authorized to use for this test. Please do not use: - Employer or client repositories; - Confidential or proprietary third-party information; - Personal or sensitive data; - Production credentials; - Production environments; - Any code or data that you do not have the right to share or process through the platform. If cloud integrations are used, they must be limited to your own authorized test environment.
