Senior Software Engineer – .NET, Azure & Applied AI

Our team is expanding its network of senior engineers in the United States, with a particular focus on people whose background combines .NET, Microsoft Azure, and applied AI. We’d like to connect with developers who have spent roughly 10 years or more building production software and have dealt with the realities that come with mature applications: architecture decisions, APIs, databases, performance issues, cloud environments, frontend development, and systems that need to remain reliable after launch. The technical foundation for this role centers on C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, Azure, SQL, REST APIs, and web application development. Familiarity with Angular, React, or comparable frontend technologies is useful as well. AI is also a meaningful part of the technical direction. Relevant experience could include generative AI, LLM-based products, OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, RAG pipelines, agent-based systems, intelligent automation, structured generation, orchestration, or similar production use cases. We’re particularly interested in engineers who have actually built AI-driven functionality, rather than only experimented with a basic API connection. We don’t expect identical depth across every technology listed above. One engineer may have spent years building distributed .NET systems and only recently moved deeper into AI, while another may have extensive cloud and AI experience but less exposure to a particular frontend framework. Either background can work. A broad engineering foundation and the ability to get productive in unfamiliar areas are more useful to us than matching every keyword. How you work with people is just as relevant as how you write code. The engineer joining us should be able to communicate comfortably in English, clarify vague requirements, raise concerns early, explain technical tradeoffs, and participate naturally in technical conversations. Developers who have previously interacted directly with customers, product owners, or other external stakeholders will likely adapt particularly well. The engagement is remote and designed to continue beyond a single assignment. Working hours have flexibility, and the actual technical challenges may change as new work comes in. Some engagements may lean heavily toward backend and cloud development, while others may involve full-stack work or AI-focused functionality. We’re interested in experienced engineers who can be trusted with real problems, make sensible technical decisions, communicate consistently, and become a reliable part of the work over time. If your background includes substantial .NET and Azure development together with meaningful exposure to modern AI systems, we’d be interested in learning more about what you’ve built.
