Senior WordPress Full-Stack Developer – Website Speed & Performance Optimization We are looking for a highly experienced WordPress Full-Stack Developer / Performance Optimization Specialist to help us significantly improve the speed, performance, and overall efficiency of our website. This is not simply a role for installing a caching or optimization plugin. We are looking for someone who can diagnose performance issues at both the front-end and back-end level, identify the actual root causes, and implement sustainable solutions without compromising website functionality. What You'll Work On Your primary responsibility will be improving our website's loading speed and overall performance. This may include: Auditing the website to identify front-end and back-end performance bottlenecks Improving Core Web Vitals and overall page-loading performance Optimizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, images, and other front-end assets Identifying and resolving slow PHP processes and backend bottlenecks Analyzing and optimizing the WordPress database and database queries Reviewing plugins and identifying performance conflicts or inefficient code Customizing or modifying WordPress plugins when necessary Configuring and optimizing caching at the WordPress, server, and CDN levels Troubleshooting cache-related problems and conflicts Improving server response time and WordPress backend performance Working with our SiteGround hosting environment and its performance tools Troubleshooting complex WordPress issues without simply relying on additional plugins Ensuring that performance improvements do not negatively affect website functionality, tracking, SEO, or user experience Required Experience We are specifically looking for someone with strong, proven experience in: WordPress development and architecture Full-stack web development PHP and MySQL JavaScript, HTML, and CSS WordPress database optimization SiteGround hosting Server-side and browser caching CDN configuration and optimization WordPress plugin customization and troubleshooting Performance profiling and debugging Core Web Vitals PageSpeed Insights and/or similar performance diagnostic tools You should be comfortable working directly with code, databases, plugins, caching configurations, and hosting/server settings.
