Shopify Liquid developer - theme version migration plus JSON-LD structured data fixes

We run an established Shopify store selling cookbooks and kitchenware. Around 150 products. The theme is Nostalgia by AgniHD. We need one developer for a two-phase piece of work. **Phase 1.** Complete and publish a migration of Nostalgia from version 1.1.0 to version 4.1.0. The bulk of this is already done. Customisations have been rebuilt into an unpublished copy of 4.1.0 and byte-verified, and a full 228-file diff has been run showing no structural loss. What remains is reviewing theme customiser settings that did not cleanly carry across, visually checking twelve changed templates, fixing anything broken, and executing the publish. **Phase 2.** Fix and complete our theme-level JSON-LD structured data. This includes repairing a malformed Article schema block that appears in two section files, correcting a timezone bug in the date output, adding BreadcrumbList across the site, fleshing out a thin Organization entity, adding missing offer fields to Product schema, and adding FAQ schema to two pages. Our reviews app has a known sync fault that suppresses rating schema across the catalogue. We are resolving that directly with the vendor, so it is not part of this job. Your Product schema work does need to be built so it will not conflict once those ratings return. **Explicitly out of scope:** structured data inside blog post bodies. We have a separate internal project handling Recipe and Article schema across our 1,000 plus posts. Please do not quote for it. ## What makes this job unusual The work is documented to an unusual degree. You will receive project pages containing exact file names, line numbers, file-level diffs with checksums, a list of known traps, and in several cases the corrected code already drafted. You are not walking in blind. You are also not walking in to something simple. The store has years of accumulated theme history, an app that injects its own sections, and hand edits inside vendor files that nobody documented at the time. There is no pristine copy of the original theme version anywhere in the store, so the list of known customisations is what we could prove, not what is provably exhaustive. We expect you to find things we have not. We would rather you raise them as you go than absorb them quietly or spring them at invoice time. ## Who we are looking for - Demonstrable Shopify theme development experience. Please link to stores you have worked on. Prior experience with the Nostalgia theme specifically is a strong plus, so say so if you have it. - Genuine Liquid fluency. This is not a page-builder or app-configuration job. - Ability to write correct JSON-LD by hand and validate against Google's Rich Results Test. - Comfortable working in an unpublished theme and never touching a live one. - Clear written English and a habit of flagging problems early. This job suits a developer who enjoys untangling an inherited codebase. It does not suit someone looking for a quick template install.
