Showit Website Designer Needed — Template Customization, Domain Migration & Blog Setup I’m looking for an experienced Showit website designer/developer to customize and launch a new website using a Showit template I’ve already purchased. This is primarily a blog/content-focused website, so the blog experience is the priority. I already have the website copy and photography ready to go. I need someone who can take those assets, customize the template beautifully, handle the technical transition from my existing Showit site, and make sure everything is ready for launch. Scope of Work 1. Customize my new Showit template * Install/import my purchased Showit template into my existing Showit account * Customize the template using my provided copy and photography * Adjust layouts, fonts, colors, navigation, buttons, spacing, etc. as needed * Ensure the design is polished and consistent across desktop and mobile * Set up and customize the blog so it is easy to navigate, visually beautiful, and optimized for publishing ongoing content 2. Preserve my existing Showit website My Showit account currently contains another website/domain that will be replaced. Before removing or disconnecting the existing site, I need it fully preserved/backed up in a way that allows me to reference or retrieve the existing copy/content in the future. I do NOT want the old site or its content permanently lost during the transition. Please explain how you would recommend preserving the existing site before making any changes. 3. Domain transition & launch * Remove/disconnect the current domain/site as necessary * Connect the new domain to the new Showit website * Handle or guide any required DNS/domain settings * Make sure the new site is properly connected and functioning before launch * Test desktop and mobile responsiveness, navigation, forms, links, blog functionality, and basic SEO settings Important: This Is a Blog-First Website The blog is the main feature of the website, not an afterthought. I plan to publish regularly, so I want someone who understands Showit + WordPress blog integration and can create a strong reader experience, including categories, individual blog posts, navigation, and an easy publishing workflow. I also plan to eventually sell products and services through the brand, so while e-commerce is not the focus of this initial project, the site should be built with future monetization and expansion in mind. I’m looking for someone who can handle both the beautiful details and the technical details of the transition—and who can get the site launched efficiently without sacrificing quality. A Note on Budget I’ve included a starting budget for the project, but I recognize that the appropriate investment may vary based on the full scope of work and level of expertise required. I’m open to proposals above or below the posted budget if you believe a different scope or price makes sense.
