This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of technical SEO, website optimization, analytics, and search engine best practices who is excited to work with a growing technology-focused company. About GeoTel GeoTel Communications is a leading provider of telecom intelligence, GIS telecom data, and broadband infrastructure mapping solutions. Our platforms and datasets help organizations make informed decisions regarding fiber networks, carrier infrastructure, broadband availability, and telecommunications expansion. Responsibilities • Conduct technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement • Optimize website structure, metadata, schema markup, and indexing • Monitor website health, crawl errors, page speed, and Core Web Vitals • Support keyword ranking improvements and organic traffic growth • Assist with backlink analysis and SEO strategy implementation • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to optimize landing pages and blog content • Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms • Identify opportunities to improve domain authority and search visibility • Ensure websites follow current SEO and search engine best practices Qualifications • Experience with technical SEO and website optimization • Understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress • Knowledge of HTML, schema markup, redirects, and site architecture • Experience with SEO tools and reporting platforms • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and organizational abilities • Experience in telecom, GIS, SaaS, or technology industries is a plus Preferred Skills • Experience improving rankings in competitive B2B markets • Understanding of local SEO and enterprise SEO strategies • Familiarity with UX optimization and conversion-focused SEO • Ability to identify and recover from Google algorithm impacts Position Details • Flexible / Remote opportunities available • Contract or part-time support considered Join GeoTel Communications and help drive visibility for one of the telecom industry’s leading geospatial intelligence platforms.
