Web Designer & Developer Needed for Modern English-Learning App Website

Hi! I’m looking for an experienced web designer/developer to design and build the official website for SooFluent, an English-learning mobile app focused on helping learners improve their listening, pronunciation, and speaking through short, real-life English stories and interactive practice. I already own the domain soofluent.com, and I have the SooFluent branding, logo, colors, app UI/designs, screenshots, and content direction. I’m looking for someone who can create a website that feels like a modern SaaS/mobile-app startup — clean, premium, warm, engaging, highly visual, and professional. I do not want a generic corporate website or a basic template with text and images inserted into it. The website should feel like the digital home of the SooFluent app and clearly communicate what makes the learning experience different. ABOUT SOOFLUENT SooFluent is designed to help English learners move from simply understanding English to actually being able to speak and respond naturally when it is their turn. The learning experience is built around three core steps: 🎧 LISTEN Train your ear with short, natural English stories and real-life situations. 🗣️ SHADOW Repeat what you hear to practice pronunciation, rhythm, and natural speech. 💬 RESPOND Practice answering real-life questions so your brain learns to access English when you actually need it. The app includes short listening stories at different English levels, real-life situations and conversations, pronunciation practice, voice recording, word-by-word pronunciation support, and AI-powered pronunciation feedback. The website should communicate this experience in a visual, emotional, easy-to-understand way, rather than feeling like a traditional language-school website. WEBSITE STRUCTURE 1. HOME — THE MOST IMPORTANT PAGE The Home page should do most of the product storytelling and explaining. Hero section At the very top, I envision a strong hero section with messaging similar to: Free your voice. Be SooFluent. Train your ear. Practice your pronunciation. Learn to respond in English — one story at a time. The hero should include a beautiful presentation of the actual SooFluent app, preferably using phone/device mockups and real app UI/screens. IMPORTANT — APP IS COMING SOON The app has not launched publicly yet. For the initial website launch, the hero/download area should therefore say something like: Coming soon on the App Store and Google Play The website should be built so that once the app is officially published, this can be easily changed to the official: Download on the App Store Get it on Google Play badges, with each badge linking directly to the SooFluent listing in the appropriate app store. I do not want the website to need to be redesigned when the app launches. The download areas should be built and ready from the beginning so we can simply update the text/badges and add the store links. What is SooFluent? As the visitor scrolls, there should be a short, visually engaging explanation of SooFluent. The main idea: SooFluent helps learners move from understanding English to actually using it, through short real-life stories, listening practice, speaking aloud, pronunciation practice, and real-life response practice. How it works — LISTEN → SHADOW → RESPOND This should be one of the strongest visual sections of the website. 🎧 LISTEN Train your ear with short, natural English stories. 🗣️ SHADOW Repeat what you hear and practice rhythm, pronunciation, and natural speech. 💬 RESPOND Answer real-life questions so your brain learns to access English when you actually need it. I would like this three-step method to be presented prominently and creatively rather than as a simple block of text. Stories for your level Introduce the different learning levels: A2 / B1 / B2 Show that learners can practice with stories and language appropriate for their current English level. This section should ideally use actual SooFluent app screens or product mockups. Pronunciation practice Show how learners can: Listen to English Record themselves Practice pronunciation Tap individual words to hear pronunciation Receive pronunciation feedback I will provide the relevant app UI/screenshots. The designer should present these features visually using attractive phone/device mockups rather than simply listing them as text. Real English in context Explain that SooFluent teaches English through: Short stories Everyday situations Natural conversations Phrasal verbs in context Real-life vocabulary and expressions The purpose is to help learners experience English in context rather than only memorize isolated words or grammar rules. “Stop letting your mind go blank” I would like a strong, emotional section built around a common problem English learners experience: They may understand English when someone else is speaking, but when someone asks them a question and it is their turn to respond, their mind goes blank. SooFluent is designed to give learners practice not only listening, but also responding. This could become one of the most memorable sections of the Home page, so I am looking for a designer who can turn this idea into a strong visual/product story. Final CTA Near the bottom of the Home page, I would like another strong call to action, for example: Ready to become SooFluent? Initially: Coming soon on the App Store and Google Play After the app launches, this section should be easily updated to show the official clickable App Store and Google Play download badges. The download CTA can also appear in other appropriate places throughout the Home page. 2. ABOUT SOOFLUENT This page does not need to be very long or overly corporate. It should explain the mission and learning philosophy behind SooFluent. The philosophy is based on the idea that fluency isn't built simply by memorizing more English. Learners need repeated exposure to natural English, opportunities to say it aloud, and practice responding in realistic situations. A message similar to: We believe fluency isn't built by memorizing more English. It's built by hearing English again and again, saying it out loud, and practicing how to respond in real situations. The page can also introduce SooFluent Inc. as the company behind the app. The learner and the mission should remain the main focus. 3. SUPPORT I would like a dedicated Support page rather than only a basic Contact page. It should be structured so we can include or expand: Common questions / FAQ Account questions Subscription questions Technical issues Recording/microphone questions Pronunciation-feedback questions App support Contact support Contact email: The page should also be flexible enough to add other support information later as the app grows. 4. PRIVACY POLICY A dedicated Privacy Policy page. SooFluent includes features involving user accounts, microphone/voice recording, and AI-powered pronunciation feedback. The website needs a professional location for the final Privacy Policy associated with the app and service. Important: I am not asking the developer to invent a generic Privacy Policy. The final policy/content will need to accurately reflect how the finished app handles user information and third-party services. 5. TERMS OF USE A dedicated Terms of Use page for the SooFluent app/service. The page should be designed and integrated consistently with the rest of the website. FOOTER Every page should have a professional footer that can include: SooFluent Free your voice. All rights reserved. There should also be appropriate space for any required app-store/legal trademark notices. DESIGN DIRECTION The design is extremely important for this project. I want SooFluent to feel like a modern consumer mobile app / SaaS startup, not a traditional educational website. The visual direction should feel: Modern Premium but human Warm Clean Friendly Emotional Highly visual Mobile-first Professional Easy to understand Conversion-focused I want the website to showcase the actual product beautifully, using app screenshots, device mockups, strong typography, thoughtful layouts, and subtle modern interactions/animations where appropriate. It should feel like a real technology/product brand while still keeping the warmth and personality of SooFluent. I especially value developers/designers who understand product storytelling — not just web development. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS The website should: Be fully responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile Load quickly and be performance optimized Use HTTPS/SSL Connect to my existing soofluent.com domain Include basic on-page SEO setup Use clean, professional URLs Include working support/contact functionality Be compatible with current major browsers Allow basic content to be updated easily Allow the App Store and Google Play links to be added/changed easily after launch Be structured so the initial “Coming Soon” state can transition easily to the live app-download state Include appropriate social links Include testing before launch Include final deployment/domain setup Provide me with full administrative access Include complete handover of website files/source code and ownership at project completion I am open to recommendations regarding the best technology/platform for the site.
