Web / Mobile Developer – Symfony / Angular / Ionic

We are a technology company developing a suite of web-based products, SaaS applications, and mobile applications for the music industry. Our platform is designed to provide musicians and artists, DJs, music producers, songwriters, composers, artist managers, booking agents, promoters, audio engineers, and other music professionals, as well as recording studios, record labels, music publishers, talent and booking agencies, venues, and other music-industry businesses with digital tools for managing their businesses, online presence, content, data, and day-to-day operations. We are building an integrated ecosystem of applications and services rather than a single-purpose product. Our development work includes maintaining and expanding existing systems as well as building new products and functionality. We are looking for a Web / Mobile Developer to help develop and maintain our web and mobile applications. Our applications are built primarily with Symfony on the backend, Angular on the frontend, and Ionic/Capacitor for mobile applications. Most of our products are web-based, with mobile applications developed for products and functionality where a mobile experience is appropriate. You will work on existing functionality and develop new features based on product requirements and designs. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain backend functionality using Symfony * Develop frontend functionality using Angular and TypeScript * Develop and maintain mobile applications using Ionic, Angular, TypeScript, and Capacitor * Build and integrate REST APIs * Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases * Work with Kafka-based messaging and event-driven functionality * Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services * Work with Capacitor plugins and native device functionality when required * Build, run, test, and troubleshoot applications for iOS and Android * Debug and improve existing functionality * Implement new features based on specifications and wireframes * Write automated tests for application functionality * Write clean, structured, and maintainable code * Work with Docker-based development and testing environments * Work with Git and our existing development workflow * Test your work before submitting it for review * Communicate progress and technical issues clearly Required Skills * Symfony * Angular * Ionic * Capacitor * TypeScript / JavaScript * HTML / CSS * REST APIs * MySQL * MongoDB * Apache Kafka * Docker * Git * Automated software testing * Experience working with existing web applications * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills You must have your own Mac capable of reliably running the project’s Docker-based development environment, mobile development tools, and other required development software. You should be comfortable working with iOS and Android development environments, simulators, emulators, application builds, and troubleshooting mobile application issues. We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical, and able to work within an existing codebase. You should be comfortable following specifications, asking questions when requirements are unclear, and taking assigned features through implementation and testing.
