I am looking for a sharp, detail-oriented web researcher to help mine public registries and regulatory documents to build a clean corporate contact list. This project focuses entirely on U.S. business data. What you will be doing: 1. Document Sourcing: Accessing public U.S. state agency databases to find specific regulatory documents and extracting historical contact lists from the appendices. 2. Public Record Searching: Navigating localized county and state-level public portals to log specific business filings and tracking numbers. 3. Corporate Entity Verification: Cross-referencing business names with U.S. State Secretary of State registries to track down current principal mailing addresses for older or inactive LLCs. Skills Needed: -Strong web research skills and experience navigating public U.S. government/state/county data portals. -Solid understanding of U.S. business structures (LLCs, corporations, registered agents). -High proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets to keep data organized and formatted cleanly. -Excellent reading comprehension and high attention to detail.
