WordPress Expert Needed to Redesign an Established Medical Website (No SEO/Functionality Loss)

We have a well-established, live WordPress website in the healthcare/medical (doctor) niche. We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer/designer to give the site a modern redesign WITHOUT breaking any of the existing functionality or SEO that we've built up over time. This is a live, ranking site, so care and precision matter more than speed. We need someone who understands that a redesign on an established site is very different from building from scratch. What we need: - Modern, clean, professional redesign suited to a medical/doctor brand (trust, credibility, easy navigation) - Fully responsive (mobile, tablet, desktop) - Faster page load / good Core Web Vitals - All existing features must keep working exactly as they do now Non-negotiable requirements: - ZERO loss of existing SEO — URLs, meta data, rankings, structured data, redirects must all be preserved (or properly 301-redirected where needed) - ZERO broken functionality — forms, appointment/booking features, plugins, integrations must all continue working - Work on a staging/test environment first, then push live only after approval - Take a full backup before making any changes Must-have skills: - Strong WordPress experience (themes, plugins, page builders) - Custom coding ability — PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (this is important; we don't want someone who only drags and drops) - Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO - Experience redesigning established/live websites without losing rankings Nice to have: - Experience with medical/healthcare or professional service websites - Speed optimization experience When applying, please include: 1. 2–3 examples of established sites you've redesigned (ideally showing SEO/traffic was preserved) 2.
