eCommerce Bookkeeper: QuickBooks Desktop, Webgility, Amazon & Shopify

About Us We're a U.S. manufacturer of premium home products, selling through Shopify, a national home improvement retailer, and Amazon. We're looking for an experienced eCommerce bookkeeper to keep our multi-channel books clean, accurate, and ready for our accountant. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, follows through on details, and already understands how eCommerce bookkeeping works. For the right match, this is a long-term role. If the fit is right for both of us, the work will grow to include: Ongoing Amazon bookkeeping and reconciliation Shopify sales and payout matching Entering retail orders Sales tax support (a plus, not required) Once the initial work is complete, we expect ongoing work to take about 5–10 hours per month. Our Setup QuickBooks Desktop, cash basis Qbox for remote file sharing Webgility syncing Amazon and Shopify orders Must Have U.S.-based 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong eCommerce background Strong, hands-on QuickBooks Desktop experience (not only QuickBooks Online) Proven experience recording and reconciling Amazon activity, including sales, fees, returns, refunds, and deposits Experience matching Shopify payouts Highly accurate tracking of every Amazon and Shopify fee Solid understanding of cash-basis accounting Dependable, proactive communicator who keeps careful notes Nice to Have Webgility experience Qbox or other shared Desktop file experience Xero experience Sales tax experience, including marketplace facilitator sales Experience with product or manufacturing businesses How We Work Our accountant approves all correcting entries, especially those affecting closed periods. You'll flag issues (if any) and prepare entries for review. Everyone has their own logins and permissions. We value clear notes: what you found, what you changed, and why.
