ASIC Registered Company Auditor - Franchise Solvency Audit (Australia) We need an ASIC registered company auditor to issue an independent audit report on a director's solvency declaration for an Australian franchise disclosure document. Scope Item 21.5 of the Franchising Code of Conduct. The franchisor entity is newly incorporated with two months of trading, so we use the solvency declaration route instead of two years of financial reports. You are auditing the solvency declaration, not financial statements. We can provide immediately Balance sheet and P&L for the two month trading period, bank statements, aged creditors and debtors, ATO lodgement status, 12 month cash flow forecast, loan and lease documents, ASIC extract. Must have ASIC registered company auditor number under s1280 Corporations Act. Include it in your proposal. A CA or CPA without personal RCA registration cannot sign this. We verify against the ASIC register before shortlisting. Nice to have Prior Franchising Code item 21 engagements.
