About the Role You will manage client communication, coordinate technical teams, and ensure AWS projects stay on track from discovery through delivery. This is a client-facing role requiring strong AWS, DevOps, and project delivery experience. An active AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification with at least 12 months of remaining validity is mandatory. What You Will Be Doing Own day-to-day client communication and relationships Lead technical discovery calls, status reviews, and solution discussions Coordinate offshore engineering teams across AWS, DevOps, data, and AI projects Translate client requirements into clear delivery plans Track scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables Manage sprint reviews, release readiness, UAT, and go-live activities Identify and resolve delivery blockers early Ensure deliverables meet quality, security, and technical standards Provide clear project updates to clients and leadership Mandatory Requirements Active AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification, valid for at least 12 months from the joining date 5 or more years of experience in technical project management, delivery management, DevOps engineering, cloud consulting, or technical leadership Experience delivering AWS projects from discovery through production Experience working in consulting, professional services, or client services Strong enterprise client communication skills Experience coordinating distributed or offshore engineering teams Available and responsive during US working hours Must be an independent freelancer and not part of an agency AWS and DevOps Experience Required AWS services including S3, EC2, ECS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK Docker, ECS, or EKS Monitoring, logging, observability, incident management, and production support AWS security, networking, IAM, and governance Preferred Experience AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, or other data platforms Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, or GenAI project delivery SaaS modernization and cloud migration AWS Control Tower, Organizations, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, or Systems Manager Who We Are Looking For You should be technically credible, organized, proactive, and confident speaking with enterprise clients. You must be able to manage client expectations, guide technical teams, and communicate risks clearly. Note: A valid AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification with at least 12 months of remaining validity is a hard requirement.
