AWS & DevOps Lead Instructor / Mentor (Live Cohort - Fluent English Required)

Cloud Engineering Institute is looking for an experienced AWS/DevOps Engineer to lead our upcoming student cohort. You will guide IT Support and Helpdesk professionals through a 12-week career accelerator designed to help them transition into high-paying Cloud/DevOps roles through hands-on labs, enterprise projects, and career positioning. Compensation: $150 USD per 90-minute session ($3,600 USD total across 24 live sessions), paid via milestones per completed week/month. Key Responsibilities (The 3 Core Pillars): 1. Live Cohort Execution: Host 24 live 90-minute Zoom sessions (2 sessions per week for 12 weeks) covering core AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. 2. Curriculum & Lesson Prep: Refine and finalize the 12-week practical curriculum, creating simple session slide decks, practical lab exercises, and step-by-step technical documentation. 3. Project Reviews & Career Strategy: Grade and review student enterprise projects, inspect GitHub portfolios, and assist with recruiting strategy (resume optimization, technical interview prep, and live troubleshooting frameworks). Requirements: - Fluent English Communication: Exceptional, clear, and confident spoken English suitable for teaching native US professionals (Zero communication friction). - Real-world production experience as an AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer. - AWS Certification (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional preferred). - Prior experience mentoring, training, or teaching technical concepts to beginners. - Availability to host live sessions during US Eastern Time (EST) evening hours. ⚠️ MANDATORY APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: To be considered, you MUST include a quick 10-second video/audio link (Loom, unlisted YouTube, or Google Drive) in your proposal cover letter introducing yourself and stating your AWS background.
