# AWS Cloud Engineer (Application Hosting & Infrastructure Audit) ## Job Title **Senior AWS Cloud Engineer – Application Deployment, Infrastructure Review & Code Audit** ## Job Description We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to deploy, optimize, and review our web and mobile application infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in hosting production applications, configuring AWS services securely, and identifying issues related to both infrastructure and application code. ## Responsibilities * Review the existing application architecture and source code. * Deploy and configure the application on AWS. * Set up and manage EC2, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, VPC, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch, and other AWS services as required. * Configure SSL certificates, domain mapping, security groups, and networking. * Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability. * Identify and report infrastructure-related issues. * Review the application code and identify potential bugs, configuration issues, deployment blockers, and performance bottlenecks. * Provide a detailed technical report with findings and recommendations. * Work closely with our development team to resolve deployment issues. * Ensure the environment follows AWS security best practices. ## Required Skills * Strong experience with AWS (5+ years preferred) * Amazon EC2 * Elastic Load Balancer (ALB/NLB) * Auto Scaling * Amazon RDS * Amazon S3 * CloudFront * Route 53 * IAM * CloudWatch * VPC Networking * SSL/TLS Configuration * Linux Server Administration * Docker (preferred) * Nginx/Apache * CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline) * Application Performance Optimization * Troubleshooting & Debugging ## Deliverables * Successfully host and configure the application on AWS. * Submit a detailed infrastructure assessment report. * Submit an application code review report highlighting issues, risks, and improvement recommendations. * Document deployment steps and server configuration. * Recommend security, performance, and cost optimization improvements. ## Preferred Qualifications * Experience deploying production web and mobile applications. * Experience working with Node.js, PHP, Java, Python, or similar backend technologies. * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and documentation skills. ## Project Type One-time project with the possibility of long-term collaboration for AWS infrastructure management and DevOps support. ## Screening Questions 1.
