Acoustic Guitarist & Vocal Co-Composer for Original Music Album (On-Site in Minnesota)

Upwork Contract: Acoustic Guitarist / Co-Composer / Vocal Collaborator (Minnesota On-Site) Project Title Acoustic Guitarist & Vocal Co-Composer for Original Music Album (On-Site in Minnesota) Project Overview I am looking for a talented acoustic guitarist, singer, and songwriter to travel to Minnesota and collaborate with me in person on the creation of an original music album. This is a creative partnership where we will write, arrange, rehearse, and perform together over several days. The ideal candidate enjoys acoustic folk, singer-songwriter, country, Americana, soft rock, or world-folk music and is comfortable building songs from ideas, lyrics, and melodies. Scope of Work The selected musician will: * Co-compose up to 10 original songs * Create acoustic guitar arrangements * Help develop melodies, harmonies, and musical structure * Sing lead and/or harmony vocals as appropriate * Participate in rehearsals and recording sessions * Perform live demo recordings with me * Provide creative input throughout the production process Schedule * Duration: Approximately 5 days * Weekend plus three additional weekdays * All work performed in person in Minnesota Compensation Fixed Project Fee: $1,000 USD In addition, I will provide: * Lodging * Meals during the collaboration period * Local transportation related to project activities (if applicable) (Travel to Minnesota may be discussed separately depending on the candidate’s location.) Deliverables By the end of the engagement, we aim to complete: * Up to 10 co-developed original songs * Guitar arrangements for each song * Demo recordings of each composition * Performance-ready versions of the songs Ideal Candidate Looking for someone who: * Plays acoustic guitar at a professional or advanced level * Can sing confidently * Has songwriting and composition experience * Is creative and collaborative * Can quickly turn ideas into finished songs * Is comfortable working intensively over several consecutive days * Speaks English fluently (additional languages are a plus) Music Style Open to musicians influenced by: * Acoustic Folk * Americana * Country * Soft Rock * Indie Acoustic * Singer-Songwriter * World Folk * Bengali-English fusion (a plus, but not required) Ownership & Intellectual Property Unless otherwise agreed in writing: * All songs created during this engagement will be treated as collaborative works. * Ownership, songwriting credits, publishing rights, recording rights, and royalty arrangements will be defined in a separate written music collaboration agreement before commercial release. * The contractor agrees not to distribute, publish, or commercially exploit any project materials without written permission from all rights holders.
