Advanced Data ETL Engineer, Data Flow Connector to Power BI with Aimplan implementation

Advanced Power BI Consultant – Aimplan, Procare, Dataflows & Data Architecture We are looking for an experienced Power BI Consultant with strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, Power BI dataflows, and complex data integrations. Our environment integrates Aimplan (planning platform) and Procare (childcare management system) with Power BI, and we need someone who can troubleshoot, optimize, and improve the overall data architecture. Scope of Work Investigate and resolve Power BI dataflow and refresh issues. Troubleshoot large semantic models and optimize refresh performance. Analyze and improve the Power BI data architecture. Review and optimize Power Query (M) transformations. Work with Azure SQL, data connectors, and external data sources. Troubleshoot Aimplan planning data integration and missing planning records. Review Procare data ingestion and dataflow processes. Identify issues with relationships, data models, and refresh pipelines. Recommend best practices for scalable Power BI architecture. Assist with performance tuning and troubleshooting complex DAX measures when needed. Required Skills Expert-level Power BI. Strong experience with Power BI Dataflows. Experience with large semantic models and refresh optimization. Data architecture and data modeling. Power Query (M). DAX. Azure SQL. SQL Server. Data connectors and API integrations. ETL/ELT design and troubleshooting. Experience with enterprise reporting environments. Nice to Have Experience with Aimplan. Experience with Procare. Azure Data Factory or Fabric experience. SSRS/Report Builder experience. What We're Looking For We need someone who can quickly understand an existing enterprise Power BI environment, identify the root cause of data issues, recommend the best architecture, and help implement a long-term solution.
