Aether & Ink logo design

Aether & Ink is a hobby game and trading card store (Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, board games) seeking a polished, professional logo with an elegant high-fantasy aesthetic in the spirit of Final Fantasy XIV — refined, gilded, and atmospheric rather than cartoonish. The central image is a phoenix feather quill: a single feather wreathed in true flame, fire licking and trailing off its edges (not just a flame-colored gradient), fading from a warm ember base to a bright orange tip, with the quill fitted into an ornate metal fleur-de-lis crossguard/holder and an engraved handle. The quill dips into an inkwell that should feel like a magical-mechanical relic — an antique glass bottle encased in a sterling silver lattice/filigree overlay, with a hinged, flip-open lid on a visible pivot arm. Work “Gnomish” clockwork details into the piece itself (gear-toothed lid rim, small rivets, a tiny pressure gauge, exposed mechanical joinery) so the technology reads as integrated craftsmanship rather than an added-on sticker.
