# Agricultural Research Specialist – Greenhouse Tomato Monitoring We are seeking an agricultural professional to participate in a long-term greenhouse research project focused on tomato production. **Important:** Please apply only if you **currently have regular access to a commercial tomato greenhouse or own/manage a greenhouse** where tomato plants can be monitored throughout their growing cycle. ## Responsibilities * Select and monitor tomato plants from the early growth stage until harvest. * Record structured observations using our data collection protocol. * Take periodic photographs of the monitored plants. * Document plant health, growth stages, environmental conditions, and any significant changes observed during the growing cycle. * Submit collected data on a regular schedule. ## Requirements * Degree or professional experience in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. * **Current access to a commercial tomato greenhouse or ownership/management of a greenhouse suitable for tomato production.** * Ability to visit the greenhouse regularly throughout the crop cycle. * Strong observation and documentation skills. * Good written English. ## Preferred Qualifications * Experience with greenhouse crop production. * Experience in agricultural research or field data collection. * Familiarity with plant diseases, nutrition, irrigation, and crop management. * Experience maintaining accurate records and observations. ## About the Project This is a long-term agricultural research project focused on building a high-quality dataset from real greenhouse tomato production. The work involves systematic plant monitoring and structured data collection over the complete life cycle of the crop.
