All-in-One AI YouTube Channel Operator - Research, Scripts, AI Video, Editing, Thumbnails, Analytics
Worldwide
All-in-One AI YouTube Channel Operator – Research, Scripts, AI Video, Editing, Thumbnails & Analytics Remote | Freelance | Ongoing | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity We are looking for one person to operate an entire YouTube channel from idea to publication. This is not simply a video editing job. We are building a lean, AI-assisted YouTube media operation and want a highly capable all-in-one content operator who can independently take a video from: Topic → Research → Fact-checking → Script → AI Avatar → B-roll → Editing → Thumbnail → Title → Upload → Analytics → Improvement The ideal person is someone who enjoys YouTube, understands what makes people click and keep watching, is comfortable with AI tools, and wants to take increasing ownership of a channel as it grows. The initial workload is approximately 3 videos per week, with a long-term opportunity for increased responsibility and compensation based on performance. ABOUT THE CHANNEL The channel produces AI-assisted political commentary and analysis videos using a digital avatar. The content focuses on current political, cultural, social, and geopolitical stories with a strong emphasis on: • Current events • Politics • Culture • National identity • Religion and society • Elections • Political personalities • U.S. and European affairs • Political conflict and controversy • News stories with significant audience interest The channel is designed for YouTube long-form viewing. The goal is not simply to summarize the news. The goal is to create videos with: • Strong topics • Strong curiosity • Strong titles • Strong thumbnails • Strong openings • Clear storytelling • High retention • Interesting analysis • Human editorial judgment • Accurate factual reporting • Consistent publishing You will receive detailed SOPs, examples, templates, and an established production workflow. Your job is to execute the system, improve it, and eventually own the workflow independently. THE ROLE You will be the primary operator responsible for producing approximately 3 finished YouTube videos per week. You should be capable of handling the majority of the production process yourself without requiring step-by-step supervision. Your responsibilities include: 1. Topic Research • Find interesting and timely political/news topics • Monitor YouTube and other sources for emerging stories • Identify stories with strong audience potential • Study competing videos and successful topics • Identify outlier videos and understand why they performed • Evaluate whether a topic has enough interest to justify a video • Suggest multiple potential topics when appropriate The key question is: "Why would our audience click on this video today?" 2. Research & Fact-Checking Before writing the final script: • Research the story thoroughly • Use reputable sources • Prefer primary sources whenever available • Verify important claims • Verify dates, numbers, names, quotes, policies and events • Distinguish confirmed facts from allegations, opinions and analysis • Identify disputed claims • Avoid unsupported conclusions • Never invent information AI can assist with research, but AI output is never considered a source by itself. The operator is responsible for ensuring that the final script is factually responsible. 3. AI-Assisted Scriptwriting Use AI tools, particularly ChatGPT or equivalent tools, to create and refine scripts. The workflow includes: • Creating a strong opening hook • Building the narrative • Establishing context • Developing conflict • Explaining why the story matters • Adding relevant analysis • Improving transitions • Improving retention • Creating a strong conclusion • Creating an effective call to action Scripts should be written specifically for YouTube narration, not like essays or newspaper articles. The writing should be: • Clear • Conversational • Engaging • Easy to understand • Suitable for AI narration • Short-paragraph • Strongly structured • Free of unnecessary repetition • Natural rather than robotic You will be trained on examples of successful scripts and provided with our scripting SOP. 4. Human Editorial Judgment This is extremely important. We do not want an operator who simply asks AI to write a script and publishes the result. AI is a production tool. The operator must add editorial judgment. You should constantly ask: • Is this actually interesting? • Is the opening strong enough? • Does the story move forward? • Is there unnecessary information? • Is the analysis interesting? • Is the conclusion satisfying? • Is anything misleading? • Is anything repetitive? • Would a viewer keep watching? • Does this sound like a human commentator? The final product must contain human editorial value, even though AI is heavily used in production. 5. AI Avatar Generation Generate the video using the provided AI avatar workflow. You will: • Use the correct avatar • Use the correct voice • Generate the narration • Review pronunciation • Review synchronization • Check avatar movement • Regenerate sections when necessary • Ensure the final avatar presentation looks natural and professional The goal is a realistic, consistent presentation suitable for long-form YouTube videos. 6. B-Roll & Visual Research The avatar should not be on screen continuously. You will source appropriate visual material to maintain viewer engagement. This can include: • Stock footage • News footage where legally appropriate • Public-domain material • Licensed material • Maps • Screenshots • Charts • Political imagery • Relevant photographs • AI-generated visual assets • Other legally usable supporting visuals You must understand copyright and licensing requirements. Do not simply download random images or footage from Google and assume they are free to use. The visual material must support the narration rather than simply fill space. 7. Video Editing Edit the complete video using our templates and workflow. Responsibilities include: • Combining AI avatar footage with B-roll • Cutting unnecessary pauses • Maintaining pacing • Adding visual changes • Adding relevant text • Adding screenshots and graphics • Creating smooth transitions • Synchronizing visuals with narration • Maintaining consistent audio levels • Ensuring the video remains engaging throughout The finished video should feel like a professionally produced YouTube commentary video—not an automatically generated AI video. 8. Thumbnail Creation Create compelling YouTube thumbnails using Canva or another appropriate tool. Thumbnails should be: • Immediately understandable • Visually strong • High contrast • Emotionally compelling • Focused on one clear idea • Appropriate for the topic • Consistent with the channel's visual identity You will study successful thumbnails and continuously improve based on performance. We care about CTR and viewer response, not simply whether the thumbnail looks attractive. 9. Title & Packaging Create multiple title concepts for each video. Titles should create genuine curiosity without making unsupported claims. We want titles that communicate: • What the story is about • Why it matters • Why the viewer should care • A compelling curiosity gap • Clear stakes You should be able to explain why you believe a particular title will get clicked. You will also compare successful titles from our channel and competitors to identify patterns. 10. YouTube Upload & Publishing You will handle the complete upload process. This includes: • Uploading the final video • Adding the title • Writing the description • Adding relevant hashtags • Adding the correct playlist • Uploading the thumbnail • Adding appropriate end screens • Checking monetization settings • Completing required AI disclosure • Checking the final video before publication • Scheduling the video • Confirming that the upload is correct Every video must go through a final quality-control checklist before publication. 11. Weekly Analytics & Performance Diagnosis You will monitor the performance of published videos. At minimum, review: • Views • Impressions • CTR • Average view duration • Audience retention • Watch time • Engagement • Subscribers gained • Revenue • Performance relative to previous videos The objective is not merely to report numbers. You must answer: Why did this video work or fail? For successful videos: • What topic worked? • What title worked? • What thumbnail worked? • What hook worked? • What audience did it attract? • What can we reproduce? For weak videos: • Was the topic weak? • Was the title weak? • Was the thumbnail weak? • Did viewers leave early? • Was the script too slow? • Was the story unclear? • Was the video poorly packaged? • Was the topic simply not interesting enough? Every week, identify specific lessons that should influence the next videos. 12. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT We don't want someone who simply follows an SOP forever. We want someone who learns. You should continuously: • Study successful videos • Study failed videos • Study competitors • Analyze audience behavior • Test new hooks • Test new title structures • Improve thumbnails • Improve scripts • Improve editing • Improve workflow efficiency • Identify new AI tools • Suggest production improvements The channel should become better over time. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE The first objective is consistent production. Approximately: 3 high-quality videos per week But production volume alone is not success. The long-term objective is to increase: • Monthly views • Watch time • CTR • Retention • Subscribers • Returning viewers • Revenue We want an operator who thinks in terms of channel growth, not simply completed tasks. YOUR WORKFLOW The basic workflow will be: 1. Find potential topics ↓ 2. Evaluate topic potential ↓ 3. Research and fact-check ↓ 4. Develop the angle ↓ 5. Create script with AI ↓ 6. Human editorial review ↓ 7. Generate AI avatar ↓ 8. Find B-roll / visual assets ↓ 9. Edit video ↓ 10. Create thumbnail ↓ 11. Create and optimize title ↓ 12. Upload and schedule ↓ 13. Final quality check ↓ 14. Monitor performance ↓ 15. Analyze results ↓ 16. Apply lessons to future videos TOOLS You should be comfortable learning and working with AI-assisted production tools. The workflow may include tools such as: • ChatGPT • AI avatar/video generation platforms • AI image generation • Canva • YouTube Studio • Stock footage platforms • Video editing software • Google/search tools • Analytics tools You do not need to know every tool already. What matters most is that you are: technically capable + fast at learning + comfortable with AI + able to work independently. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate combines several skill sets. You should have experience with at least some of: • YouTube • YouTube channel management • Video editing • AI video generation • AI avatars • AI voice generation • ChatGPT • Scriptwriting • YouTube thumbnails • Canva • YouTube SEO • YouTube analytics • News/political content • Online research You don't necessarily need to be an expert in every category. However, you must be willing and able to learn the entire workflow. IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN OPERATOR ROLE We are specifically not looking for: ❌ Someone who only edits videos ❌ Someone who only writes scripts ❌ Someone who needs instructions for every step ❌ Someone who simply copies AI-generated content ❌ Someone who does not understand YouTube ❌ Someone who ignores analytics ❌ Someone who publishes without fact-checking We are looking for: ✅ A proactive operator ✅ Strong researcher ✅ Good writer ✅ Competent editor ✅ AI-native worker ✅ Good visual judgment ✅ YouTube-minded thinker ✅ Reliable communicator ✅ Independent problem solver ✅ Someone who wants to improve the channel WORKING STYLE You will work primarily independently. You will receive: • SOPs • Production checklists • Examples • Templates • Training materials • Existing channel information necessary to perform the work You will be expected to learn the workflow and gradually require less supervision. We want to reach the point where we can say: "Here is the channel. You own the weekly production workflow." TIME COMMITMENT The initial target is approximately: 3 completed videos per week This is an ongoing role rather than a one-time project. The exact amount of time required will depend on your workflow, experience, AI proficiency and production speed. Efficiency is important. We are interested in quality output and reliable execution, not simply hours logged. COMPENSATION Initial Base Compensation: $900/month For approximately 3 completed videos per week. Performance Revenue Share: 10% In addition to the base compensation, the operator will receive: 10% of eligible monthly YouTube advertising revenue Example: If the channel generates $4,000/month in eligible YouTube advertising revenue: $900 base + approximately $400 revenue share = approximately $1,300/month The purpose of the revenue share is to give the operator meaningful upside as the channel grows. As responsibilities, output, performance and channel revenue increase, compensation may be reviewed. We are specifically interested in building a long-term relationship with the right person, rather than constantly replacing freelancers. LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY This begins as a freelance contract. For the right person, there is potential for: • Longer-term engagement • Increased responsibility • Increased compensation • Greater ownership of the production process • Additional channels/projects as the media operation expands • Potential contract-to-hire progression We want to reward someone who becomes increasingly valuable to the operation. CONTRACT-TO-HIRE This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The initial relationship will be freelance/contract. There is no guarantee or obligation of full-time employment. However, if the relationship works extremely well and the channel continues to grow, we are open to developing the relationship into a larger long-term role. QUALITY STANDARD Before a video is published, it must pass our quality-control process. The final video must have: • Accurate information • Strong topic • Strong hook • Clear narrative • Good pacing • Natural narration • Appropriate B-roll • Professional editing • Strong thumbnail • Strong title • Correct upload settings • Appropriate AI disclosure • No obvious factual errors • No obvious copyright problems • No misleading claims • Advertiser-conscious presentation Publishing quickly is not more important than publishing correctly. FIRST 30 DAYS During the initial period, you will learn the workflow and demonstrate that you can independently execute it. We will evaluate: Production • Can you consistently deliver 3 videos/week? • Can you follow the SOP? • Can you work independently? Quality • Are the scripts strong? • Are the videos engaging? • Are thumbnails competitive? • Is the editing professional? Judgment • Are you selecting good topics? • Can you identify weak ideas? • Can you distinguish facts from speculation? • Can you improve AI output? Growth • Are you studying analytics? • Are you learning from successful videos? • Are you improving your work from week to week? Reliability • Do you meet deadlines? • Do you communicate clearly? • Do you catch problems before publication? WHO WILL DO WELL IN THIS ROLE You will probably enjoy this role if you: • Love YouTube • Constantly study successful channels • Enjoy experimenting with AI • Like analyzing why videos go viral • Can work independently • Like building systems • Are interested in politics/current events • Want performance-based upside • Want a long-term relationship rather than one-off gigs WHO SHOULD NOT APPLY Please do not apply if you: • Have no interest in YouTube • Only want to perform one task • Need constant supervision • Are uncomfortable using AI • Cannot research independently • Are unwilling to fact-check • Cannot meet a consistent weekly publishing schedule • Do not have examples of relevant work • Are looking for a short one-off project APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS To make sure you actually read this job post, please answer the following questions in your proposal. 1. Tell us about your YouTube experience. What channels have you worked on? What were your responsibilities? 2. Show us your work. Provide links to 2–5 relevant examples. Examples can include: • YouTube videos • Video editing • AI-generated videos • Thumbnails • Scripts • Channels you have managed If you have worked on a channel where you handled multiple stages of production, explain exactly what you did. 3. Which parts of this workflow can you currently handle independently? Rate yourself from 1–10 on: • Topic research • Political/news research • Fact-checking • Scriptwriting • ChatGPT • AI avatar generation • Video editing • B-roll sourcing • Thumbnail creation • YouTube titles • YouTube SEO • YouTube Studio • Analytics 4. Give us an example of a video you think performed exceptionally well. Tell us: Why do you think it worked? We are more interested in your reasoning than simply the view count. 5. Imagine one of our videos gets very low views. What would you check first? Explain your diagnostic process. 6. How would you improve this title? "Politician Announces New Immigration Policy" Give us 3 alternative titles and briefly explain why you chose them. 7. What AI tools do you currently use? Tell us which AI tools you have practical experience with and what you use each one for. 8. How many videos can you realistically complete per week? Our initial target is approximately 3 finished videos per week. 9. What time zone are you in? Also tell us your typical working hours. 10. Start your proposal with the words: "I understand this is an operator role." This helps us identify applicants who actually read the posting. HIRING PROCESS We will review applications based on: 1. Relevant experience 2. Quality of previous work 3. YouTube understanding 4. AI proficiency 5. Communication 6. Analytical thinking 7. Ability to work independently 8. Attention to detail 9. Long-term fit Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a small paid trial task before the long-term contract is offered. The purpose of the trial is to evaluate your ability to follow the workflow and produce quality work—not to obtain free production. THE OPPORTUNITY This is an opportunity to become the operator of a growing AI-assisted YouTube channel, rather than simply completing isolated freelance tasks. If you are good at this, your role can grow with the channel. We want someone who can eventually take a topic and turn it into a finished, published, optimized YouTube video with minimal supervision. If that sounds like the kind of role you want, we would like to hear from you.
