Summary

Liminaleia is a private membership platform built for people navigating major life transitions. It includes two distinct member products (TrueSelfNavigator and Inside Liminaleia), a suite of 28 AI-assisted reflection tools, a real-time journaling companion, a weekly review system, and a collaboration hub with a public calendar. The platform is built in React with a PocketBase backend. We are approaching the end of alpha development and need a careful, methodical tester to work through a structured test document before we open to our first members. What the work involves You will be provided with a fully written, section-by-section test document covering every feature of the platform. Each item is a specific, actionable step — navigate here, do this, confirm that. You click through the live app, mark each item pass or fail, and record what you found where something doesn’t behave as described. The document covers approximately 200 individual test items across: Authentication and access gates (multiple account tiers) Onboarding flows Phase Signal Check (three distinct user contexts) All 28 navigation tools and their session flows Weekly Navigation Review (a structured 5-section reflection) Daily Reflection journals (both products) AI Companion conversations Personal Portrait and Journey Crossings and Developmental Experiments Phase Support pages Collaboration Hub — public calendar, participant dashboard, registration flow Mission Control (admin interface) PocketBase backend — collection rules and data integrity You do not need to write test cases. They are already written. Your job is to execute them faithfully and document what you find. What we need from you A written report at the end of the engagement containing: A pass/fail summary by section Specific notes for every failed or unexpected item: what you did, what happened, what you expected Any observations about UX friction, confusing flows, or broken states that the test document didn’t explicitly cover Screenshots or screen recordings for any visual bugs or broken layouts The right person for this Detail-oriented and thorough — you follow steps exactly as written and don’t skip Comfortable with web applications and browser developer tools (you can check a network request or inspect a database record when the test asks you to verify backend data) Can access PocketBase admin (we will provide read-only credentials) to verify that records were created correctly Patient with AI response quality — some items ask you to assess whether an AI response is coherent and appropriate, which requires reading and judgment, not just clicking Has a quiet, discerning sensibility — this platform is built for people in the middle of significant life transitions, and the writing throughout reflects that. You don’t need to be in that season yourself, but you should be able to read the platform’s tone accurately. No domain expertise in personal development or psychology is required. Plain careful attention is what matters most. Timeline We are hoping for a completed report within 5-7 days of access being granted. The test document can be worked through in sessions — it does not need to be completed in one sitting. Budget: Fixed price. Please quote based on your estimated hours at your standard rate. We expect most thorough testers to spend 8–14 hours on this engagement. Deliverable: One written report in the format above, submitted as a Google Doc or PDF. Test document check state will be tracked live in the app — you will have access to the interactive checklist directly. To apply Please include a brief note on any prior experience with structured QA testing or test-case execution (formal or informal), and one or two sentences on why careful, methodical work suits you. We are not looking for the fastest applicant — we are looking for someone who will catch what others miss.
