I need help uploading my book to Amazon/KDP. Job Title: KDP & ACX Publishing Consultant Needed for 4-Format Book Launch (First-Time Author) Job Description: I am preparing to publish my very first book and am looking for an experienced self-publishing consultant to manage the technical setup, formatting, and uploading process. The book needs to be launched across four formats: Ebook, Paperback, Hardcover, and Audiobook. I am using a professional design service for the cover art assets, so you will not need to design the cover graphics. However, I need someone to handle the manual execution of the launch layout. Responsibilities Include: - Interior Formatting: Converting my finalized manuscript into a professional, print-ready PDF (for paperback/hardcover) and a clean, validated ePub file (for the ebook). - KDP Setup: Navigating the Amazon KDP dashboard to correctly input metadata, perform keyword/category optimization, upload the files, and ensure they clear the print previewer safely. - ACX Setup: Assisting with the technical setup on ACX (Audible) to prepare for the audiobook assets. - Quality Control: Double-checking layout margins, bleed settings, spine alignment, and formatting boundaries before final submission. Requirements: - Proven experience launching books successfully on Amazon KDP (please share portfolio or examples of books you have formatted/loaded). - Deep understanding of KDP print trim sizes, bleed specifications, and metadata strategies. - Willingness to sign a standard NDA regarding manuscript security. - Clear communication skills to guide a first-time author through the final timeline.
