Amazon KDP Publishing Specialist – End-to-End Book Publishing

I'm looking for an experienced Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) specialist who can handle the end-to-end publishing process for my book. The objective is to take the book from the files I provide and get it professionally prepared, uploaded, published and properly listed on Amazon KDP. Scope of Work I am looking for someone who can handle the complete process, including: Reviewing the manuscript and identifying any formatting issues Professional eBook/Kindle formatting Paperback formatting Hardcover formatting, if appropriate Cover preparation and KDP-compliant cover formatting Interior formatting and layout Table of contents, front matter and back matter KDP manuscript and cover specifications Uploading the files to KDP Completing all KDP book details Book description formatting Keyword research and selection Amazon category selection BISAC/category recommendations where applicable ISBN guidance and setup Pricing and royalty setup recommendations Territory/distribution settings eBook, paperback and hardcover setup/linking where applicable KDP Previewer checks Fixing any errors identified during KDP's preview/review process Final publication and verification that the book is live on Amazon KDP requires separate preparation and upload considerations for eBooks, paperbacks and hardcovers, so experience handling all relevant formats is important. Important I am looking for someone who can take ownership of the complete publishing workflow, not someone who only uploads a completed PDF or Word document. You should be able to explain what needs to be done at each stage and identify issues before submission. I will provide the book manuscript and the information/assets I have available. You should tell me what additional information or files you need from me. Quality Requirements The final book must: Look professional on Kindle devices/apps Have properly formatted print interiors Have a professional and correctly sized cover Pass KDP's preview and quality checks Have accurate metadata Have properly researched keywords and categories Have a professionally structured Amazon book listing Be correctly linked across formats where applicable For print editions, I also want you to verify the final interior and cover using KDP's preview tools before submission. KDP recommends previewing print books before publication and allows proof copies to be ordered. Amazon Listing Optimization Please don't treat this as simply a technical upload. I also want you to review the book's Amazon positioning and recommend: Primary and secondary keywords Categories Book title/subtitle presentation where appropriate Book description structure Pricing strategy Relevant Amazon/KDP features that may be appropriate Please explain your recommendations before making any significant changes. Can you provide live Amazon examples of books you personally published? What exactly did you handle for those books? Do you handle formatting yourself or outsource it? Ownership & Account Access The book and publishing account remain under my ownership. You will work through my KDP account with the necessary access/authorization. I do not want the book published through your personal KDP account. All final manuscript files, cover files, formatted files, metadata, keywords, descriptions and other project assets should be provided to me. Payment I prefer to use Upwork milestones based on completed and verified stages rather than paying the entire amount upfront. We can agree on the exact milestone structure after reviewing your proposal and scope. I'm looking for someone experienced who can potentially handle multiple books in the future, so if the first project goes well, there is potential for ongoing work.
