Android Hardware Development Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Android Hardware/Embedded Systems Developer to design and develop a customized Android kit for an outdoor AR/VR binocular solution. The proposed kit should include: High-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon XR-class processor Latest Android OS 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage Support for 4K (3840 × 2160) display Interface for external 4K optical zoom camera Dedicated Zoom In/Out button integration with SDK/API Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity Integration of rotary encoders/position sensors for pan and tilt tracking SDK/API support for sensors and external hardware Compact form factor suitable for integration inside the binocular head Peltier-based cooling system suitable for continuous outdoor operation in ambient temperatures up to 55°C Complete Android BSP, drivers, SDKs and documentation for APK integration The existing Android AR application will be migrated to this customized hardware platform. We are looking for a developer/company with proven experience in Qualcomm-based Android hardware, custom PCB/SOM development, Android BSP development, camera integration, sensors, and AR/VR embedded systems. Prototype development followed by small-volume production support will be required.
