Summary

WAGGLE FOUNDATION POSITION: Animal Welfare Fundraising Consultant REPORTS TO: Director of Animal Welfare & Creator Partnerships *Must LOVE Animals* Are you passionate about animal welfare — and energized by the challenge of winning people over to a cause worth fighting for? Waggle's Fundraising Consultants are the growth engine behind our network of animal welfare partners: You'll prospect for new shelter and rescue partners, make the case for what Waggle can do for the animals in their care, and guide each one from first conversation to a thriving fundraising campaign. The role blends relationship-building, persuasive storytelling, and results-driven account management — all in service of animals who need it most. You'll own a portfolio of nonprofit shelters and rescues: finding them, pitching them, onboarding them, building their fundraising campaigns, and helping them succeed on the Waggle platform. This is a part-time, US-based role (remote) with room for growth — including a larger portfolio and more responsibility as you build a track record of results. *** We encourage you to include a resume/cover letter. Please describe why you'd be a great fit for this role. *** RESPONSIBILITIES Prospect & outreach: Identify and reach out to shelters and rescues who could benefit from Waggle, and make a compelling case for partnering with us Pitch & onboard new partners: Guide prospective partners from first conversation to signed-on, answering questions and working through hesitations along the way Build & manage your pipeline: Grow partner engagement; move rescues through each stage and keep momentum moving, from first outreach to active campaign Create & manage campaigns Manage your account portfolio: Grow existing partner relationships and spot opportunities for repeat campaigns and continued success Track & report activity: Keep CRM records up to date (HubSpot), log outreach and follow-up activity, and stay on top of partner communication through our internal tools (Slack, Asana) QUALIFICATIONS A love and passion for animals: This work is meaningful, and our partners need to feel that you care about the mission (not just the task). Comfortable making the ask: You can confidently reach out to someone new, make the case for Waggle, and guide them toward a yes — all while keeping the animals' needs front and center. Goal-oriented: You like having a target to work toward and take ownership of your outreach and pipeline. Organized self-starter: Able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines independently in a remote, async-first environment. Strong written communication: You'll write fundraising campaigns and partner outreach that move people to action. Clear, empathetic, and compelling writing is essential. Relationship-oriented: You understand that long-term partnerships require trust, consistency, and genuine investment in others' success. Resilient and patient: Not every rescue is ready to partner right away, and that's fine — you follow up thoughtfully without being pushy. Tech-comfortable: Proficiency with HubSpot, Asana, Slack, Canva, Microsoft Docs, and similar tools. Ability to prioritize and quickly turn around high priority campaigns in a fast-paced environment. *** Experience in sales, business development, animal welfare or nonprofit fundraising, or account management is a strong plus, but not required. ABOUT WAGGLE The Waggle Foundation seeks to ensure that the lives of companion animals are not cut short due to a lack of funds needed for vital medical treatment. We work with animal welfare organizations, pet guardians, veterinary providers, media, brands, and the general public to raise critical funding and awareness. If you're ready to make a difference — and you love the challenge of turning a maybe into a yes — we want to hear from you! Apply today to join our mission and help us create a better world for animals.
