Animated Kids' Series - Storyboard Artist (2 openings)

Overview: We're producing an animated kids' series and hiring two storyboard artists to board episodes from script. We care most about storytelling: clear staging, strong composition, readable acting and emotion. Clean, appealing boards for review - not fully rendered illustration, but clean and clear. These boards will eventually be run through our AI pipeline to create character poses. What you'll do: *Board episodes from script and direction, working closely with our director. *Deliver clean storyboards at a steady pace - roughly 15-20 boards per day. *Take notes well and revise through about two rounds per episode. The rhythm: *Each episode is ~30-50 boards. We'd expect a first pass ready for review in ~3-4 days, then two rounds of notes, so roughly 1.5-2 weeks per episode. You must have: *Strong storyboarding and visual storytelling fundamentals (staging, composition, continuity, acting) *A clear, appealing, consistent sketch style *Speed and reliability at volume *Great communication and a genuine ability to take direction Nice to have: animation or kids'/comedy content experience, character-driven boarding. Rate: $1,500/month, ongoing, full-time for around 3 months. Hiring process: Promising applicants will be invited to a short paid test: board one page of script for $50. It's the fastest way for us to see how you handle real material and direction, and for you to get a feel for the work.
