Summary

# 2D Motion Designer / Animation Studio Needed for Two Brand & Explainer Videos We are looking for an experienced **motion designer or animation studio** to create two polished 2D animated videos for **Visa Service Desk (VSD)**. VSD helps business and leisure travellers with visas, immigration support and document legalisation. We are now expanding our services with **VSD Travel**, allowing customers to also arrange flights, hotels and car rentals through us. The core message is simple: **From documents to destination — VSD brings travel paperwork and travel bookings together in one place.** The Project We need two separate videos that feel like part of the same visual system. #Video A — VSD Brand / Corporate Video **Length:** approximately 1:45–2:00 **Purpose:** replace our current visa-only homepage video and introduce the full range of VSD services. The video will cover: - Visas - Immigration support - Document legalisation - VSD Travel - Flights - Hotels - Car rentals The script is already written and includes a detailed scene-by-scene breakdown. The most important creative moment is the introduction of **VSD Travel**, which should feel like the natural expansion of the existing VSD brand. Video B — VSD Travel Explainer **Length:** approximately 60–90 seconds **Purpose:** explain how customers can book travel through VSD Travel. The structure is: 1. Choose destination and travel dates 2. Compare and select a flight, hotel or rental car 3. Book and pay 4. Access everything through the VSD account alongside visa/application information This video will combine **UI animation and motion graphics**. The booking interface should preferably be recreated as editable vector animation rather than shown through raw screen recordings, so that individual UI elements can be updated later. Visual Direction We are looking for high-quality **2D motion graphics / flat vector animation**. The overall feel should be: - Clean and premium - Calm and professional - Strong typography - Generous use of whitespace - Smooth, controlled movement - Trustworthy rather than playful We like the idea of one continuous visual device — for example a route, line or journey — connecting the different scenes. Documents, forms, processes and destinations can be represented abstractly rather than literally. Please avoid: - Generic aeroplane/globe/suitcase visuals as the main creative concept - Stock-style airport imagery - Cartoon or emoji-style illustration - Excessively playful animation - Fictional government/visa stamps, embassy logos or official government symbols Characters are optional. If used, they should be neutral, diverse and visually simple. VSD will provide final logos, brand colours, fonts, style guidance and access/screenshots of the booking platform. Audience Primary audience: Business travel managers, office managers, HR teams and finance professionals responsible for international employee travel. Secondary audience: Individual travellers arranging visas and international trips. A large percentage of viewers will watch the videos **without sound**, so on-screen typography and subtitles are important. Voice-over & Audio English voice-over will be deliverd. Music should feel calm and contemporary, but not like generic corporate stock music. Music and voice licensing must cover: Worldwide, perpetual use, all media, including paid advertising. ## Deliverables Video A - 1:45–2:00 master — 16:9 - 30 sec cutdown — 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 - 15 sec cutdown — 1:1 and 9:16 - 5 sec standalone end card — 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 Video B - 60–90 sec master — 16:9 - 30 sec cutdown — 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 For both videos we also require: - Versions with and without burnt-in subtitles - English + Dutch subtitles - Separate .SRT files - Music & Effects track without voice-over - 5–10 high-resolution still frames - Complete editable source files - After Effects project or equivalent - Organised assets and clearly structured layers Technical delivery: - 25 fps - 4K UHD master - 1080p H.264 export - Rec.709 - Social-safe layouts for vertical/square formats Timeline The project has a relatively tight launch schedule. Our preferred scenario is: **Video B first**, followed by Video A. Indicative timing: - Studio/freelancer selected: around 23 September - Storyboard/style development: late September - Video B production: early/mid October - Video B final delivery: around 22 October - Video A final delivery: early November Please propose a **realistic production schedule** rather than an overly optimistic one. Feedback Process There will be one main decision maker on our side and feedback will be consolidated. Please include: - Two feedback rounds per video - Your rate for additional revision rounds Expected approval stages include storyboard, style frames, animatic, first cut and final delivery. Rights We require a full buy-out - Worldwide - In perpetuity - All media - Including paid advertising Rights to the final videos and editable project/source files will belong to Visa Service Desk. You may use the finished work in your portfolio/showreel after launch. Please Include in Your Proposal Please send: 1. Your showreel 2. 2–3 highly relevant examples of your work 3. Examples of professional services, SaaS, fintech or UI-based animation are especially relevant 4. A short description of how you would approach the visual style 5. Your proposed production process 6. Your availability and realistic timeline 7. Itemised pricing for: - Concept / creative direction - Storyboard - Style frames - Animation - Voice-over - Music + licensing - Social cutdowns / alternative ratios - Subtitling 8. Price for Video A separately 9. Price for Video B separately 10. Combined price if we commission both 11. Price for one additional language version 12. Cost of an additional revision round 13. Who will personally work on the project If you are a freelancer rather than a studio, that is absolutely fine, quality, reliability and strong motion-design work are more important to us than agency size. Please start your proposal with the words **“From documents to destination”** so we know you have read the full brief.
