Animation and Gaming Content Video Editor

Summary We're a comedic video game and animation studio looking to grow an audience around the original games and animations that we produce. Our content is similar in style to South Park or Rick and Morty, and modern devlog YouTubers like Dani or Two Star Games. We're looking for a Social Media Video Editor to cut together a variety of comedic, fast-paced short and long form content for various social media channels. We want someone who's able to provide their own creative input and push back on our existing ideas where they see room for improvement. We also want someone familiar with the modern internet style: memes, quick zooms, knowing when to use reaction shots, engaging subtitles and motion graphics. Responsibilities: You will take raw footage and our provided script and edit it into long and short form content. While the script and footage will be provided, things like sound effects, motion graphics and more will be completely up to your discretion (as well as finding copyright safe assets for these things). At the beginning, the job will consist of 2-5 short form videos per week, with the opportunity to expand into more— we're currently making weekly long form content as well, and if someone could take that over eventually, that'd be great. This will be the routine at least for the next several months. Bonus: If you work in Premiere Pro that would be awesome, because then it would allow us to make final tweaks to the edit without needing to go back and forth. We're looking for people with a specific style! You don't have a wide variety of experience editing videos, that's fine, just send us what you have. We would like someone who’s personal style fits well with ours, you don’t need to be a jack of all trades.
