2D Animator / Illustrator for Simple Paint

This listing is directly from the real Simple Paint team. We’re looking for a talented and reliable 2D animator/illustrator to work with us on an ongoing basis. Our channel uses a deliberately simple, hand-drawn cartoon style. The drawings themselves are not highly complex, but we care a lot about visual storytelling, creative scene ideas, expressive characters, consistency, and clean execution. The example videos represent the quality and style we're looking for. You should be able to match that overall look and feel, but we're absolutely open to artists who can elevate it further while staying true to the simplicity and visual identity of Simple Paint. We’re looking for someone who: • Has strong drawing and 2D animation skills • Can recreate our existing style consistently • Can turn a script into creative and entertaining visual scenes without needing every shot explained • Communicates well and takes deadlines seriously • Can deliver consistently within agreed timeframes • Is interested in long-term, ongoing work Typical videos are around 12–15+ minutes long. Our current rate is around $25/minute, but the rate is flexible for exceptional artists who can provide noticeably better quality, creativity, speed, and reliability. Bonus structures are also possible based on performance, quality, consistency, and long-term collaboration. This is not intended to be a one-time project.
