2D Animator for Recurring Preschool Vocabulary Videos
Worldwide
2D Animator for Recurring Preschool Vocabulary Videos We are creating a new educational YouTube channel for toddlers and preschoolers aged 2–5. We are looking for a talented 2D animator to create a recurring series of short vocabulary episodes, approximately 2–3 minutes each. Each episode will feature the same original character discovering and teaching one simple English word, such as car, apple, ball, dog, or train. The first project will be a pilot episode teaching the word “car.” If the collaboration is successful, we plan to produce an initial series of at least 10 episodes, with the possibility of ongoing long-term work. The animation should be bright, colorful, simple, and suitable for preschool children. It should use clear shapes, recognizable objects, expressive characters, gentle movements, and a consistent visual style across all scenes and episodes. The videos will include repetition, simple interactions, and short questions that encourage children to participate. Important: No AI-Generated Content We are looking for manually created 2D animation using professional animation software. We do not want AI-generated characters, AI-generated backgrounds, AI-generated animation, text-to-video content, inconsistent generative visuals, or generic stock-template videos with minimal customization. Please confirm which software you use and whether any generative AI is part of your workflow. The animator should be able to: - Design an original recurring character - Create a reusable character rig - Keep the character consistent across every scene and episode - Create reusable poses, expressions, backgrounds, and educational objects - Animate simple character actions and environments - Create basic lip-sync where necessary - Add text, transitions, sound effects, and background music - Maintain a consistent visual identity across the series - Deliver the final video in 1920 × 1080, 16:9 - Provide editable source files - Provide full commercial usage rights for the original character, assets, and finished videos A script and clear creative direction will be provided for each episode. Pilot Episode: “Car” The first episode will teach the English word “car.” It will include: - The character hearing and discovering a car - The word CAR displayed clearly on screen - Repetition of the word - The car performing simple actions - An interactive moment where the child identifies the car - A short recap at the end The final pilot episode should be approximately 2–3 minutes long. Please include in your proposal: 1. Examples of children’s animation, preschool content, educational cartoons, or nursery-rhyme videos 2. The animation software you use 3. Confirmation that you will not use generative AI 4. Your price for one 2–3 minute pilot episode 5. Your estimated production time 6. Your price per episode for a 10-episode series 7. Whether character design and rigging are included 8. Whether backgrounds, music, sound effects, source files, and commercial rights are included 9. Whether the character and reusable assets will belong exclusively to us Please start your proposal with the word “CAR” so we know you have read the full description. We are looking for someone reliable, creative, communicative, and interested in building a consistent long-term preschool animation series.
