Apparel Illustrator Needed for Original Anime-Inspired Gym and Streetwear Brand We are building an original premium gym and streetwear clothing brand and are looking for an illustrator/designer who can create bold, original artwork influenced by anime, manga, dark fantasy and strength culture. This is not a fan-art project. We do not want copyrighted characters, existing anime logos, traced artwork or direct copies of another artist’s style. All characters, symbols and visual elements must be original. First project Create one print-ready T-shirt design for our first collection, currently titled “Awakening.” The concept represents a person breaking away from their former self and evolving into a stronger form. The artwork should feel powerful, dark, cinematic and wearable without looking like generic AI artwork or an anime convention T-shirt. The shirt may include: * A completely original character or symbolic figure. * A large back graphic. * A smaller front graphic or emblem. * Original typography. * Dark fantasy and manga-inspired visual elements. * A composition suitable for oversized heavyweight streetwear. The selected artist must have: * A strong illustration portfolio. * Experience designing graphics for apparel or merchandise. * Experience with original anime, manga, fantasy or streetwear artwork. * Strong composition and typography skills. * The ability to prepare artwork for DTF and screen printing. * Clear communication and willingness to make revisions. Required deliverables * Initial concept sketches. * Final front and back designs. * High-resolution transparent PNG files at 300 DPI and final print size. * Layered PSD, AI or equivalent editable source files. * Vector files for logos and typography when applicable. * Color-separated files if required for screen printing. * Apparel mockups for presentation. * All fonts used or properly outlined typography. * Exclusive commercial usage rights and written assignment of the approved final artwork to our company. Important conditions * No copyrighted characters or logos. * No traced artwork. * No unauthorized stock assets. * No undisclosed generative AI. * The artist must disclose any licensed third-party assets before using them. * The artist must be able to show meaningful work-in-progress stages. * The final design cannot be resold, reused or licensed to another client.
