Appointment Setter / Lead Follow-Up Specialist for Security Company

We are a security and technology company looking for an experienced Appointment Setter / Lead Follow-Up Specialist to help us respond to and follow up with prospective customers. The primary goal of this role is to make sure incoming leads are contacted promptly, properly followed up with, and scheduled with our sales team when qualified. Responsibilities include: Contact incoming and existing leads by phone, email, and/or text Follow up consistently with leads who have not responded Ask basic qualifying questions and understand the customer's needs Schedule qualified appointments for our sales team Confirm appointments and assist with reducing no-shows Maintain accurate notes, lead statuses, and follow-up information in our CRM Re-engage older leads when appropriate Provide simple updates on lead activity and appointments booked We're looking for someone who: Has previous appointment-setting, lead follow-up, inside sales, or customer service experience Is confident and professional speaking with U.S. customers Has strong spoken and written English Is organized and consistent with follow-up Has experience working with a CRM Can work during agreed-upon U.S. business hours Experience with home services, security systems, low-voltage, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or other service businesses is a plus but not required. This will initially be a 1–3 month engagement while we evaluate the process and results, with the possibility of continued work if it is a good fit.
