Seeking a detail-oriented, highly communicative AutoCAD Drafter for a multi-family residential project based in the United States. Because this project must comply with strict US building codes and standard construction document guidelines, prior experience with US building standards is a strict requirement for this role. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive, builder-ready Construction Documents (CDs) for a multi-family residential project using AutoCAD. Incorporate feedback from structural engineers, project managers, and builders into revised architectural drawings. Ensure all drawings strictly adhere to drafting conventions. Required Qualifications & Skills:Software: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting precision is vital). US Standards Experience: Proven portfolio showing completed US-based residential or multi-family construction document sets. You must understand US architectural graphic standards, dimensions (imperial system), and detailing. Builder Communication: Past experience collaborating directly with or drafting for general contractors and builders. You must know how to draft details that are practical for field execution. Availability: Must have a minimum of 4 hours of overlap with PST business hours for live coordination and quick turnarounds. Communication: Professional written and spoken English.
