Commercial Architect & Structural Engineer Needed – EXPEDITED Permit Drawings for Maintenance Shop (Lawrence, KS) Project Overview We are seeking an architect (or architecture/engineering team) that can produce a permit-ready drawing set VERY QUICKLY for a new maintenance shop to be constructed at an existing apartment community in Lawrence, Kansas. This project is time-sensitive. We are looking for professionals who can begin immediately and prioritize this project over the next several days. The project is located at: Remington Square Apartments 4100 W. 24th Place Lawrence, KS 66047 Information We Will Provide We already have: ALTA Survey Proposed building location shown on the survey Property lines Setbacks Distances from adjacent buildings Existing site information Conceptual floor layout Building dimensions Exterior concept Preliminary building scope and finish requirements The proposed building is approximately 30' x 20' (600 SF). Scope of Work We are looking for someone to prepare a permit-ready drawing package suitable for submission to the City of Lawrence. Expected deliverables include: Architectural Site plan using our ALTA Survey Floor plan Exterior elevations Building sections Door and window schedule Roof plan Construction details required for permitting Structural Foundation plan Structural framing plans Roof framing Structural details Structural calculations (if required) Engineer's seal (if required by jurisdiction) Coordination Please coordinate all architectural and structural drawings so they are ready for permit submission. Building Description The building will be used as a maintenance shop for an apartment community. Current concept includes: 30' x 20' footprint 6' x 8' insulated overhead door One insulated personnel door Six fixed transom windows Heated workspace Exterior siding to match existing apartments Roof to match existing buildings LED lighting Electrical outlets throughout 240V receptacle Security lighting Concrete sidewalk and drive access These items are shown in the conceptual scope package we will provide.
