We’re looking for an experienced Asana consultant / operations systems specialist to help us improve how our team manages work across Asana and our existing tools. Today, our workflows are spread across spreadsheets, Asana, and our internal platform (Shelf OS). We’re looking for someone who can come in, understand how the team currently works, and help us design a simpler, more scalable way of operating in Asana. What You’ll Do - Audit how our team currently uses spreadsheets, Asana, Shelf OS, and other operational tools - Identify workflows that should be moved into or better managed through Asana - Design and build practical Asana projects, workflows, templates, automations, and reporting - Determine where Asana should fit alongside our existing systems rather than simply recreating everything in Asana - Help migrate or consolidate spreadsheet-based processes where appropriate - Establish clear conventions and best practices so Asana stays organized as the team grows - Train the team and help drive adoption of the new workflows - Recommend improvements based on how high-performing teams use Asana for operational management What We’re Looking For You should have: - Deep experience implementing Asana for teams or organizations Strong understanding of business processes and workflow design - Experience translating spreadsheet/manual processes into structured workflows - Ability to interview team members, understand how work actually gets done, and turn that into a practical system - Experience with Asana rules, templates, forms, dashboards, portfolios, and integrations - Strong change-management and team-adoption skills We’re not just looking for someone who knows how to configure Asana. We want someone who can understand our operations, recommend how the different pieces should fit together, build the system, and help the team actually adopt it. Engagement We envision this starting with a discovery/audit phase, followed by recommendations, implementation, and team enablement. There may be an opportunity for ongoing support as we refine the system. When applying, please include examples of similar Asana implementations you’ve led, particularly projects where you consolidated spreadsheet-based workflows or helped a team significantly improve Asana adoption.
