Astrophotography Image Editing
Worldwide
Solar Eclipse / Astrophotography Photo Editing I’m looking for an experienced astrophotography photo editor to professionally process a series of RAW photographs taken during a solar eclipse. The images were captured with a Canon EOS 2000D and Canon EF 100–400mm f/4.5–5.6L IS II USM, using a proper solar filter during the partial phases. I also used exposure bracketing, so several exposures of the same phase are available. What I need I would like the editor to: * Review and select the best RAW files/exposures. * Process the images while preserving a natural and scientifically believable appearance of the Sun. * Recover as much detail as reasonably possible from the solar surface and eclipse edges. * Optimize exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, white balance and color. * Improve sharpness and local detail without creating an artificial or over-sharpened appearance. * Apply careful noise reduction. * Correct chromatic aberration, atmospheric haze or other optical issues where possible. * Align and combine/bracket exposures when this provides a better result. * Handle images from different stages of the eclipse appropriately, rather than applying the same processing to every photograph. * Produce several high-quality individual images of the best eclipse phases. * If the material allows it, create a high-resolution eclipse progression/composite image showing multiple phases of the eclipse in sequence. * Maintain maximum possible resolution and image quality. Important I am looking for real astrophotography processing, not AI-generated replacement of solar details. Any visible prominences, corona, surface detail, eclipse structure, etc. should come from the actual photographic data. I do not want invented or generative details added to the images. The final result should look impressive but still photographically authentic. Deliverables * Professionally edited full-resolution images. * High-quality TIFF files (16-bit where appropriate). * High-resolution JPEG versions. * One eclipse sequence/composite if the available photographs are suitable. * Ideally, the editable project/source files or a description of the processing workflow used. Please include examples of previous solar, lunar, eclipse or deep-sky astrophotography processing in your proposal. Experience with Photoshop, Lightroom, PixInsight, AstroPixelProcessor or similar astrophotography software is highly valued.
