Athens-based (GR) PR Account Manager (Greek & English)

Role Description The Communications and PR Junior Manager is a remote role focused on supporting the planning and execution of international communication and PR campaigns, including on-the-ground support in Athens to support client and business events as well as local and international activations. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing press releases, assisting with media outreach, and monitoring media coverage and industry trends, as well as supporting and leading social media campaigns. You will help prepare communication materials, maintain media and stakeholder relations, and support coordination of speaking opportunities and partnership initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with senior team members on strategic communications plans, reporting on campaign performance, and contributing ideas to enhance client visibility and reputation. We are looking for someone with ideally 2-3 years of experience in PR and the Greek media landscape, someone who is looking to grow into business communications. As our work is becoming more and more visual, it would be considered a bonus if you have experience with social media, from campaign concepts to design and execution and performance reviews. Qualifications - Athens-based with availability to attend evening client events - Strong foundation in Public Relations and Media Relations, with the ability to support outreach and manage media interactions as well as pursue press coverage opportunities and media partnerships - Ability to create and adapt Press Releases and other written materials for different audiences and channels - Excellent Communication skills, including clear writing, active listening, and professional email and virtual meeting etiquette. - Client-handling and reporting - An understanding of Strategic Communications, including message development and audience targeting - Holding a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote or hybrid environment - Comfort with digital tools and handling social media both internally and for client work and willingness to learn new systems - Interest in cultural, design, luxury, lifestyle, innovation, or tech industries is highly beneficial
