We are looking for an attorney who can efficiently recover outstanding balances while protecting our brand and ensuring all collection efforts comply with applicable laws. Position Overview We are seeking a licensed attorney to prepare and send professional demand letters to clients with unpaid balances. Your role is to encourage voluntary payment before litigation becomes necessary, while advising us on the most effective legal strategy for each case. This is an ideal position for an attorney who has experience with consumer collections, contract disputes, or small claims matters and enjoys handling a consistent volume of straightforward cases. Responsibilities Review client agreements, payment history, and supporting documentation. Draft and send attorney demand letters on firm letterhead. Advise on the legal strength of individual claims. Recommend appropriate next steps if payment is not received. Communicate with debtors or their legal representatives when appropriate. Ensure all collection activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Assist with preparing small claims or civil court filings when authorized. Help improve our collections process and documentation to reduce future disputes. Qualifications Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction. Experience with collections, contract law, consumer disputes, or civil litigation. Strong written communication skills. Able to work efficiently with high attention to detail. Professional, practical, and business-minded. Comfortable handling recurring matters with consistent processes. Preferred Experience Subscription or membership businesses. Small claims litigation. Compensation will be tied directly to funds successfully recovered for the company. We are seeking an attorney who is confident in their ability to resolve outstanding balances efficiently and is motivated by results.
