Only freelancers located in the U.S. may apply.U.S. located freelancers only
We're a healthcare compliance company producing a series of in-depth, authoritative articles on U.S. healthcare regulatory topics in plain language for healthcare business owners. We’re looking for a licensed attorney who also does freelance writing to author cornerstone pieces that meet a high bar for legal accuracy. A background in healthcare, regulatory, or corporate law is preferred, but we’re open to attorneys from other practice areas who are strong researchers and writers. Topics include the Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM), PC-MSO structures, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and state-specific corporate-practice rules. The ideal writer can independently research complex regulatory topics, identify the nuances that matter to healthcare operators, and translate the law into clear, practical, plain-English content without sacrificing legal precision. We care about accuracy and quality as this content anchors our brand. We will collaborate with you on topics and target keywords/angles — you will own the research and writing. What you'll do: - Write ~1,500–2,500 word articles from a topic + target keyword we provide - Research and cite primary sources (statutes, regulations, agency guidance), not just secondary blogs - Deliver original, well-structured drafts (title/H2 structure, meta description, internal-link suggestions) - Produce thoughtful content aligned with our brand voice without reliance on AI for content and tone - Nice to have: interest in advising on keyword/topic strategy over time. Requirements: - Licensed attorney (JD + active or inactive bar admission) - Demonstrated freelance/legal writing — please include 1–2 writing samples - Ability to make dense regulatory material readable and accurate How we'll start: We'll begin with a paid 1–2 article trial. If it's a strong fit, there's ongoing work — we have a substantial pipeline of articles planned.
