Australian Engineering and Manufacturing Database

We are building Australia's next engineering and manufacturing capability platform and are looking for a detail-oriented researcher to help build a comprehensive database of Australian manufacturers and engineering businesses. This is not simply a data entry role. We are looking for someone who can accurately research company information and follow a structured process. What you'll be doing We'll provide: A master Excel spreadsheet with all required fields Links to industry directories (including AMTIL and SEMMA) A clear step-by-step process Your role is to research each company and complete the database with information such as: Company name Website Contact details Products and services Manufacturing capabilities Equipment and machinery Industries served Certifications Australian locations Social media links (if available) Company overview Other relevant business information Accuracy is far more important than speed. Requirements Excellent internet research skills Strong attention to detail Experience using Excel or Google Sheets Ability to follow instructions consistently Fluent written English Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors is a bonus but not essential. Project Scope The initial project will involve approximately 300–500 companies. If the quality of work is high, this will become an ongoing role as we continue expanding Australia's largest engineering and manufacturing capability database.
