Automated Python Stock Screener

I need a single, well-structured Python application that can analyse and screen equities using both technical and fundamental perspectives. Technical side • Real-time chart-pattern recognition as prices stream in. • Indicator calculations and signals for MA, RSI, MACD, ATR, ADR, VWAP, Volume, Bollinger Bands, Stochastic, close above previous swing high, breakout from range, Distance-from-52-week-high and Super Trend. Fundamental side Pull the most common valuation metrics—earnings, revenue growth, P/E, dividend data and similar—so every screened ticker can be ranked against fundamental thresholds I will supply. Key workflow I expect 1. Fetch price and fundamental data from readily available public APIs (e.g. yfinance, Alpha Vantage, or any equivalent you suggest). 2. Store raw and derived figures locally (CSV, SQLite, or lightweight alternative). 3. Run pattern recognition and indicator logic on demand or via a scheduled task. 4. Output a ranked list of tickers that meet my rule set plus an optional summary dashboard (command-line or minimal web UI is fine). 5. Log every step clearly so I can later extend the codebase into automated alerts or trading. Deliverables • Clean, commented Python source code organised into modules. • A short README explaining setup, dependencies and how to add new indicators. • Sample configuration file where thresholds for both technical and fundamental rules are set. • One example run that shows screened results for a user-defined watch-list. Acceptance criteria The script must execute end-to-end on my machine, compute each listed indicator correctly, recognise at least three classic patterns (double top, head-and-shoulders, triangle) and export the final screener results without manual edits.
