Automation & CRM Integration Specialist

We are a growing e-commerce brand looking for an Automation & CRM Integration Specialist to help eliminate manual operational bottlenecks. Our systems currently handle customer orders, lead tracking, and inventory updates across multiple channels, but we are running into synchronization errors, duplicate records, and fragmented data across our CRM and store backend. We want someone who can build clean, scalable, code-backed automations using n8n and Node.js, rather than relying on brittle, standard no-code shortcuts that break under load. What You’ll Be Working On: CRM & Storefront Synchronization: Build robust two-way webhook integrations between our store/order platform and our CRM database (PostgreSQL/MongoDB). n8n Automation Engine: Design, test, and host automated n8n workflows that handle error catching, deduplication, and inventory/contact updates in real time. Custom Node.js Logic: Write lightweight scripts and API middleware to handle complex payload transformations where built-in nodes fall short. AI & Smart Lead Processing: Integrate LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI API) into our pipeline for automated customer intent tagging, lead qualification, and dynamic routing. Monitoring & Failure Handling: Set up logging and alerting so failed syncs are caught and retried automatically. Requirements: Proven experience building and self-hosting n8n workflows. Strong Node.js and JavaScript skills for custom API handling, webhooks, and backend scripting. Direct experience syncing e-commerce platforms and CRMs (order lifecycles, contacts, inventory). Experience integrating OpenAI / LLMs into automated workflows for text parsing or decision-making. Familiarity with relational/document databases (PostgreSQL or MongoDB). Computer science background or solid understanding of clean architecture and rate limits.
