Automotive Instrument Cluster Warranty Triage Specialist (Electronics Experience Required)

Description: Looking for someone with real experience working on instrument cluster electronics to help handle warranty claims for ISS Automotive (www.issautomotive.com). What you’ll do: Talk to customers about failed instrument clusters Dig into the symptoms and figure out if it’s actually a cluster problem or something else in the vehicle (battery, grounds, sensors, wiring, water damage, etc.) Decide whether we should repair it under warranty, refund, or tell the customer it’s a vehicle-side issue Document clear reasoning so decisions stay consistent Over time, help build simple technical guides and train others on how to triage these calls Must-have: Hands-on experience with instrument cluster electronics / gauge clusters (repair, diagnostics, or related work) Ability to ask good diagnostic questions and make solid judgment calls Clear, calm communication with customers Comfortable saying “this isn’t a cluster problem” when that’s the reality Nice to have: Experience with GM, Ford, or truck clusters Any background creating troubleshooting guides or training people This is a mix of customer calls + technical decision-making. Not a basic customer service role - we need someone who actually understands cluster electronics and can tell the difference between a real failure and a vehicle problem.
