Automotive Inventory & Vehicle Listing Assistant

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Automotive Inventory & Vehicle Listing Assistant to join our growing team at Auto Primo. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong knowledge of vehicles and the automotive market, enjoys working independently, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. The initial responsibilities of this role will mainly focus on accurately adding vehicles to our website inventory, creating vehicle listings, and ensuring all vehicle information is detailed, professional, and attractive for customers. The ideal candidate must be comfortable identifying vehicle trims, options, packages, features, and specifications, as accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important in this role. This is also a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the dealership. Candidates who demonstrate strong automotive knowledge, reliability, and performance may eventually transition into a full-time Vehicle Buyer position involving sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and purchasing vehicles for the dealership. Responsibilities: • Add incoming vehicles to the dealership website and inventory system • Create detailed and accurate vehicle descriptions and listings • Identify trims, packages, options, and key features of vehicles • Ensure all photos, specifications, pricing, and vehicle information are accurate • Research market trends and comparable vehicle pricing • Assist with inventory organization and vehicle merchandising • Communicate with internal departments regarding vehicle information • Maintain high attention to detail and quality standards Future Growth Opportunity: • Potential transition into a full-time Vehicle Buyer role • Learn vehicle acquisition and purchasing processes • Participate in sourcing and evaluating vehicles for dealership inventory • Opportunity for bonuses, commissions, and long-term growth within the company Requirements: • Strong knowledge of vehicles, trims, brands, and automotive features • Passion for the automotive industry • Excellent attention to detail • Good communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and efficiently • Comfortable using computers and online systems • Experience in automotive sales, inventory, or listings is an asset • French proficiency is a plus.
