BIM Interior Design Drafter (Remote, Contract)

Studio Ange is a design studio specializing in luxury hospitality projects. We are looking for a skilled, remote BIM/Architectural Drafter with strong proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of Rhino to support our design team on a project basis. In this role, you will translate architectural and interior design concepts into coordinated, construction-ready models and documentation. A key part of this role is converting complex Rhino 3D geometry into usable Revit elements using Grasshopper, so that non-standard designs can be documented and built from within a coordinated BIM environment. You will collaborate remotely with the interior designer, architect of record, and consultants to ensure that every drawing, schedule, and detail accurately reflects the design intent and is ready for contractors and vendors to execute. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain 3D models in Revit based on design direction shared remotely by the designer Translate Rhino 3D files into Revit using Grasshopper, ensuring complex or non-standard geometry is accurately converted into usable, documentable Revit elements Produce construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings, from the model Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to identify and resolve clashes early in the process Manage FF&E and material data within the model to support accurate schedules and specifications Maintain clean model organization, including proper layers, families, and naming conventions Update models promptly as design changes occur, ensuring all related drawings stay synchronized Communicate progress and flag issues proactively Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Revit, with working knowledge of Grasshopper for Rhino-to-Revit workflows Demonstrated experience converting complex Rhino geometry into Revit-compatible elements Solid understanding of construction documentation standards Experience coordinating across disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) in a remote setting Prior experience in hospitality design projects is a plus Engagement Details: Project-based Rate: TBD according to experience
