US-Based Interior Designer / CAD-Revit Designer

VIKO DESIGN STUDIO is seeking a detail-oriented, US-based Interior Designer or Architectural Designer for ongoing residential and commercial design support. We are looking for someone who understands US construction standards and can produce accurate, professional design and construction-documentation packages. Responsibilities Prepare floor plans, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and interior details Develop kitchen, bathroom, closet, millwork, and finish drawings Create residential and commercial interior-design packages Update drawings based on field measurements and design revisions Assist with material, fixture, finish, and FF&E schedules Coordinate interior drawings with architectural, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and millwork information Create presentation-quality drawings and design boards Support permit and construction-document packages under the direction of the project designer and licensed consultants Attend occasional virtual coordination meetings Required Qualifications Currently based in the United States Professional experience in both residential and commercial interior design Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3d Rendering Knowledge of US construction methods and drawing standards Familiarity with California projects and codes is strongly preferred Experience preparing detailed construction documents Strong understanding of kitchens, bathrooms, millwork, lighting, finishes, and FF&E Organized file-management and clear communication Ability to meet deadlines and accurately follow redlines Please Include Your current location Portfolio and construction-document samples Residential and commercial project examples Software proficiency Hourly rate Weekly availability Confirmation that you are available for ongoing project-based work Budget Each project will do negotiation Highly experienced candidates with advanced Revit, commercial documentation, code coordination, or project-management experience may be considered at a higher rate. The initial engagement will be a small paid assignment. Successful candidates may receive ongoing residential and commercial projects from VIKO DESIGN STUDIO.
